Responsible for responding to client requests and questions in a high-volume call center. Provides prompt, efficient, high-quality service. Assists in the production of new/enhanced accounts and the retention of existing accounts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Receives phone calls requesting quotes, changes to existing coverage and/or new policies and asking questions. Completes changes/requests within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Determines acceptability and placement of coverage, completes applications or endorsements, and collects premium if applicable.
  • Binders and/or policy or endorsement requests are to be completed within 24 hours of date quoted to client.
  • Responds to client requests for certificates of insurance or auto ID cards.
  • Receives and reviews all terminations and cancellations to determine action to be taken, and takes necessary action upon receipt.
  • Handles premium collection through forms, letters and request cancellation of policies when necessary.
  • Maintain a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with clients, agency and carrier personnel to minimize potential for errors and omissions claims.
  • Actively seeks referrals from current clients to solicit new business prospects.
  • Performs a broad variety of administrative duties and staff support services for an assigned group or leader.
  • Processes a variety of confidential information and documents securely.
  • Provides training and support to new members of the team.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, OneNote, etc.)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • 6 months P&C insurance experience
  • P&C license preferred; willing to obtain within 90 days

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
